PRODUCT TESTING & COMPLIANCE
Our Bushfire Mesh range is the result of a decade-long commitment to excellence. With a focus on independent testing and strict adherence to Australian and international standards, we are confident in its ability to withstand the harshest conditions. And, our testing verifies that our mesh protects against all three threats of a bushfire.

Ember attack is the greatest risk and is responsible for a staggering 80% of homes lost during bushfires, making it a critical aspect of our defence strategy. Bushfire Mesh excels here by capturing and holding dangerous embers and releasing them only when they no longer pose a threat.
Ever wondered how Bushfire Mesh stands up against the fierce elements of a bushfire? To demystify the science behind its effectiveness, we devised a simple yet impactful matchstick test. The primary goal was to showcase, in an easily comprehensible manner, how Bushfire Mesh acts as a crucial defence against 2 of the 3 threats of bushfire being direct flame & radiant heat.
Independant Testing shows BFM Shield protects against the 3 threats of bushfires
Bushfire Mesh is your shield that catches, holds dangerous embers & releases these embers when they are no longer a threat. 98.5% of embers that pass are no longer a threat.
Bushfire Mesh acts as a barrier and diffuses the flame. No flaming ignition on the non-flame side (vertically). Temperature behind mesh less than 250oC.
