What are the benefits of Perforated Sheets?
– Privacy, perforated sheets are ideal when screening is required providing both privacy and sunlight. The percentage open allows for a range of screening options.
– Acoustics, perforated metal is great for absorbing and diffusing sound assisting in reducing noise and echo in spaces.
– Energy efficiency and building performance, perforated sheets can assist in controlling a building’s light and ventilation. It can deflect heat from the sun so buildings rely less on HVAC systems or blinds. As it also allows natural light to enter buildings less artificial lighting is required.
– Drainage, perforated sheets are a great material for a when drainage is required such as park furniture or outdoor / external staircases.
Why SSWM stock round hole perforated sheets?
SSWM stock the round hole perforations as they are the most commonly used perforated product. Geometrically, a round hole is the most solid shape. A range of round hole sizes, open area % and thicknesses are available with strength provided by the round holes in triangular pattern (60O angle).
