We thought 2020 was a big year little did we know what this year had in store for all of us! As 2021 draws to an end and we continue to work with our valued customers and navigate the uncharted territory that COVID has thrust upon us. We can reflect with great satisfaction how we have adapted and managed to meet the demand of the Australian market including:
- The supply crisis by building on our extensive stock holding and supply to our customers to
- Our seamless experience making end to end business easy with our service, industry knowledge and speed to market with our same day despatch
- Adapted to support our customers during COVID
- Continued to develop our efficient freight network to service the Australian market
- Worked with our customers on their demand forecasting to meet their needs
Holiday Closure dates:
We will be closed from 12 noon Thursday 23rd December 2021 and reopen 8:30am Tuesday 4th January 2022. Please also provide your forecasting for 2022- if you haven’t already!
How will SSWM be supporting you in 2022?
Like everyone we are looking forward to having a break over the New Year. We will return recharged and ready for 2022, with new products. It is going to be a bright year for wire & mesh! - We are continually improving the user experience of our website to make it easier to navigate with clear product information to assist with specification and ordering
- Data sheets & stock guides have to scale photos and are printable PDFs
- Samples of our products can be mailed in replacement of show room visits
- Our professional sales team are also technically trained and understand Australian Standards

SSWM is very much a family business and we place an enormous amount of value on our families. We have therefore chosen to support The Smith Family. In lieu of sending formal cards and gifts, we have chosen to support disadvantaged young Australian’s with their education to create better futures for themselves. This is now our fifth year of supporting this worthwhile cause.
End of year celebrations & a tree laden with stainless steel stars
We are looking forward to our end of year lunch with the SSWM team. Christmas is about tradition and wire always manages to make an appearance this year we have a Christmas tree laden with stainless steel stars. We now not only have a team of stainless steel stars but also a tree!
