Stainless Steel Hexagonal Netting also known as hex netting, hex mesh, wire netting and chicken wire mesh. It is not only a popular fencing solution due to its strength and durability but also offers great formability which opens it up to many applications.

Hexagonal Netting is manufactured by weaving stainless steel wire into a hexagonal pattern using specialised machinery.

Stainless steel hexagonal netting, commonly known as chicken wire mesh, is a lightweight woven wire mesh with a hexagonal pattern. It is designed for flexible applications where containment, protection or reinforcement is required while maintaining visibility and airflow.
Hexagonal wire mesh is commonly used for animal enclosures, garden protection, aviaries, fencing and boardwalks. It is also used in industrial applications such as insulation retention, rockfall netting and light reinforcement.
Stainless steel offers superior corrosion resistance, durability and longevity compared to galvanised mesh. It is particularly suitable for outdoor, coastal or harsh environments where long-term performance is required.
Hexagonal mesh is typically available in a range of aperture sizes (hexagon opening width) and wire diameters, as well as different roll widths and lengths. The appropriate size depends on the level of containment or protection required.

No. We only cut across the width of the roll once. To enable speed to market, we have all specifications in pre-cut 2 m rolls in 1245mm wide and 10m rolls in widths above 1550mm, which are ready to be dispatched upon order.

On a double skid for interstate and country deliveries, no double skid is usually required for local deliveries or local pickups.
Yes, please either send or bring your mesh in for identification. If emailing a photo, please ensure it is against a ruler, so we can identify the mesh count and wire diameter.
