Sam Bodagh our Logistics Manager / Sales recently celebrated a very special milestone with Stainless Steel Wire & Mesh- 10 year anniversary.
Sam is an integral part of the SSWM team. Sam and Andrew first worked together back in the early 90’s when Sam joined Greer Wire.
Andrew describes Sam as “invaluable” his work ethic, warehouse organisation, stainless steel wire & mesh product knowledge, customer service and logistics ability are a testament to his dedication and drive to improve. Sam’s combined knowledge allows SSWM to provide our same day despatch when your order is placed by 9am.
We are very much a family business– Sam also shares the importance of family values. Sam’s eldest son undertook work experience with SSWM last year and this year Sam’s second son will be joining us for work experience.
These are a couple of items that sum Sam up;
– The SSWM warehouse is commonly referred to as ‘Sam’s warehouse’ or his ‘baby’. He really does look after it as though it is one of his own children!
– Customers and Suppliers regularly comment on how well kept and laid out the warehouse is
– Sam has an incredible ability to recall Customers and their required specifications- especially Cash Customers who pop in every now and again
– The next generation is often spotted at SSWM during the school holidays. Sam has made it in our children’s world and is so iconic that he even has a Duplo man named after him and drives an orange forklift! After a visit to SSWM the boys often come home and build the warehouse and have Sam very busily loading trucks- it’s always a good day of sales!
Sam we would like to congratulate and thank you for your 10 years of service with Stainless Steel Wire & Mesh. You are very much appreciated as an invaluable work colleague and it is a wonderful reflection on you that this appreciation is also felt by our Customers and Suppliers.
